The City of Carrollton Police Department confirmed today they had found and recovered a body believed to be missing, former University of West Georgia student Marcelle `Marcy` Elliott.
Elliott Not Currently a Student While all other media outlets have described the 21-year-old Elliott as a student at the local University of West Georgia, and she was enrolled during the Spring Semester, she had moved back home with her parents in Cobb County, Georgia. She was not currently a student at the university.
Not a Stranger to Stranger Crime Carrollton, Georgia residents Farrah Strength and Joshua Clay have been arrested and charged with murder in the case, following what police made clear was not a `Stranger to Stranger` crime. Evidently Farrah Strength lured Ms. Elliott back to Carrollton from Cobb County with the intent to do her harm.
